The capital of the Ashanti region, Kumasi, is the second
largest city of Ghana. Kumasi is well known as garden city in West
Africa and is the residence city of the Asantehene.
All transport in the Ashanti region starts at the central Kejetia bus
station in Kumasi. The bus station is well designed connecting all city
urban and rural transport. The immense traffic flows from and to Kejetia
make it not only the heart of transport in Ashanti, but also the most
congested area in Ghana.
MMT sells tickets in advance at Kejetia for rural and urban services. A
Bus Rapid Transit system for the ring road is in the last stage of
development. Furthermore the philosophy of Hit & Run should increase the
speed and reliability of the services in the Ashanti region.

you a safe journey'
