Call recording

All telephone calls to 0800 20 90 20 are recorded to help us to improve the quality of our customer service and to ensure that the information we provide to our customers is consistent and accurate. Records of all calls are held securely by the Department of Labour. You can ask for access to the recording of your call by writing to us at PO Box 105-183 Auckland Central. You will need to clearly identify who you are and your contact details, and provide us the exact details of the day and time of your call, and the phone number you called from. Recordings are held for a maximum of three months, the Department of Labour cannot respond to requests made more than three months after the original call.
