UN Theme Groups can be used for a wide range of inter-agency activities around particular themes such as gender, HIV/AIDS or food security. They are particularly relevant and useful at different stages of the CCA/UNDAF process, from analysis, planning and implementation to monitoring and reporting. |

CCA & UNDAF Theme Groups (Basic Principles)

In accordance with existing policies , theme groups (TGs) can be used for a wide range of activities throughout the CCA/UNDAF process, from analysis, planning and implementation to monitoring and reporting.
While TGs activities vary widely, some basic principles should always be observed to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in supporting the UN programming process.
