Knowledge Management

Codifying and sharing the valuable knowledge gained and generated by UN staff on human rights mainstreaming, is crucial for enhancing the overall capacity of the UN to mainstream human rights in its development programming. The UNDG-HRM supports two main UN knowledge management tools on human rights:

UN Human Rights Policy network – HuriTALK– the UN-Wide virtual knowledge network on human rights policy – connects over 1500 development practitioners from more than 12 UN agencies and programs

UN Practitioner’s Portal on HRBA Programming- which pools together that body of knowledge and experience, and makes it accessible to UN practitioners through a single entry point

UNDG members have also developed their own websites on Human Rights and HRBA. These can be found here.
