Communication products are important vehicles in a joint communication strategy to deliver key messages, advocate issues, illustrate achievements and challenges, and spark discussion, dialogue and action. An inventory of joint communication products produced by UN country teams and UN Communications Groups are collected on this page in order to emphasize the collective efforts and results of the full country team working together. Country team newsletters are also an effective means of communication to a wide range of stakeholders -- past issues of UN country team newsletters are available on the UNCT news page. Country teams are strongly encouraged to share samples of their joint communication products, which will be included on this page to benefit our communication colleagues. Liberia - At Work Together-United Nations in Liberia

In Liberia, the UN is made up of two key components. One is the UN Country Team (UNCT), a collection of 16 specialized agencies, funds and programmes and the World Bank. These, along with the International Monetary Fund, are present on a long-term basis to support humanitarian and development efforts in the country. The other is the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), mandated by the Security Council to secure the peace until the Liberian state can take over that responsibility.
