John K. Castle, Chairman
John K. Castle, the Chairman of Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., has spent much of the last three decades
involved with healthcare institutions and issues. Mr. Castle served as Chairman of the Board of New York
Medical College for eleven years, an institution where he served on the Board of Trustees for twenty-two
years.
Mr. Castle has been extensively involved in other healthcare and voluntary activities as well. He served
for five years as a commissioner and officer of the Joint Commission formerly known as (JCAHO), the body
which accredits most public and private hospitals throughout the United States. Mr. Castle has also served
as a trustee of five different hospitals in the metropolitan New York region, including NewYork Presbyterian
Hospital, where he continues to serve.
Mr. Castle has also served as the Chairman of the Columbia Presbyterian Science Advisory Council and as a
Director of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. He is a Fellow of New York Academy of Medicine
and has served as a Trustee of the Academy. He was Chairman of the United Hospital Fund of New York's Capital
Campaign and continues as Director Emeritus of the United Hospital Fund. He is a Life Member of the MIT Corporation,
the governing body of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Castle received his bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MBA as a Baker
Scholar with High Distinction from Harvard, and two Honorary Doctorate degrees.
John J. Connolly, Ed.D, President and CEO
John J. Connolly, Ed.D., - the nation's foremost expert on identifying top physicians, is the President & CEO
of Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. publisher of America's Top Doctors® and other consumer guides to help
people find the best healthcare. He is also Vice-Chairman of Castle Connolly Graduate Medical Ltd., which
publishes review manuals to assist resident physicians and fellows in preparing for their board exams.
Dr. Connolly served as President of New York Medical College, the nation's second largest private medical
college, for more than ten years. He is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine, a Fellow of the New
York Academy of Sciences, a Director of the Northeast Business Group on Health, a member of the President's
Council of the United Hospital Fund, and a member of the Board of the American Swiss Foundation.
Dr. Connolly has served as trustee of two hospitals and as Chairman of the Board of one. He is extensively
involved in healthcare and community activities and has served on a number of voluntary and corporate boards
including the Board of the American Lyme Disease Foundation, of which he is a founder and past chairman, and
the Culinary Institute of America for over 20 years where he is now Chairman Emeritus. He also served as a
director and Chairman of the Professional Examination Service and served as an Advisor of the Whitehead
Institute for Biomedical Research. His current corporate board service includes: Baker and Taylor; Morton's
of Chicago; Dearborn Risk Management and Perkins & Marie Callender's. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from Worcester State College, a Master's degree from the University of Connecticut, and a Doctor of Education
degree in College and University Administration from Teacher's College, Columbia University and an honorary
doctorate (LHD) from Mercy College.
Dr. Connolly has appeared on or been interviewed by over 100 television and radio stations nationwide
including "Good Morning America" (ABC-TV), "The Today Show" (NBC-TV),"20/20" (ABC-TV), "48 Hours" (CBS-TV),

Jean Morgan M.D., Vice President, Chief Medical & Research Officer
Dr. Jean Morgan was born in England and received her medical degree from Charing
Cross Hospital Medical School, London University. There she held a research fellowship
for three years before building up an ambulatory care practice in gynecology and women's
health issues. After emigrating to America, she was appointed Research Assistant
Professor at New York Medical College. Here she carried out clinical studies and
presentations in the Department of Surgery and Intensive Care Unit at the Westchester
Medical Center and published numerous articles in professional journals. She heads
Castle Connolly's research department for the selection and credentialing of physicians.
William Liss-Levinson, Ph.D., VP, Chief Strategy & Operations Officer
Dr. Liss-Levinson has held executive positions in healthcare in administration, operations
and strategic planning. He began his career as a psychologist working in behavioral health
and then in the acute care world with cancer patients and their families. Dr. Liss-Levinson
was the founder of The Brooklyn Hospice (1979-1987), a pioneering program for the terminally
ill in New York, and has subsequently served in senior positions in acute care, long-term
care and behavioral health systems in the metropolitan New York area. He has written several
chapters in books on healthcare, published numerous articles in professional journals,
testified before Congress on healthcare financing, and lectured extensively throughout
North America. Dr. Liss-Levinson has been associated with Castle Connolly since 1997, playing
a key role in its expansion and diversification. He is responsible for all strategic partnerships,
business development, marketing and sales, and also oversees the company's operations in
conjunction with its senior management
