Q: Do I need to attend the courses?
A: Course attendance is strongly encouraged. Each certification exam is based on content covered in detail during the applicable training course (as described on the Web site); therefore, forgoing the course as exam preparation could adversely affect your chances of passing.
Q: How much time do I have for an exam?
A: You are allowed up to one hour to complete any Fusion exam. ACE: SiteCatalyst and ACE: Implementation exams are allowed up to three hours each.
Q: How do I prepare for my exam?
A: You should have extensive experience for all listed exam topics. The topics for each exam are listed on the page for each exam and in the exam review guide. Review the recommended materials listed in the relevant exam guide.
Q: How are the exams administered?
A: Exams are delivered through an independent testing network. The testing network provides two methods of exam delivery: testing centers and online proctoring. You may select your exam delivery method by choosing the exam listed under the related method (e.g., exams proctored online are found at the bottom of the registration page under the "Online Proctored Exams" heading). Before choosing to use the online proctored exams, please ensure your computer and peripherals meet all specifications (www.webassessor.com/downloads).
Q: How do I pay for an exam?
A: You must either pay using a credit card or you may request to be invoiced through your salesperson. Those paying through an invoice will receive a voucher number to use as payment.
Q: If I do not pass an exam, can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are not offered for failed exams.
Q: How long do the certifications last?
A: Certifications are valid for 12 months or until the next major release of the product or process upon which the certification is based. ACE exams are continually evaluated and updated to ensure the content remains relevant. Through maintained certification status, Adobe continues to endorse your knowledge and skills as a valued and competent professional.
Q: When will I receive my score?
A: ACE: SiteCatalyst and ACE: Fusion exams provide the score immediately upon completion. The multiple-choice portion of ACE: Implementation exam is scored immediately upon completion and the short answer portion is scored within five business days. You will receive your score by e-mail.
Q: What happens if I fail?
A: You may register for the exam again 14 days after a failed attempt. You are allowed up to three exam attempts for any exam annually. Each exam instance will incur a separate exam fee.
Q: How do I find out what I missed?
A: Question answers are not disclosed. Adobe strives to maintain the highest standards to protect the integrity of the certifications you earn.
Q: What can I do if I have a grievance with an exam question?
A: Adobe is focused on the integrity of the ACE certifications and ensuring the accreditations remain meaningful. If you have a grievance with a question, please send a description of the question and your complaint to akingsfo@adobe.com.
Q: What do I receive upon certifying?
A: You will receive an ACE welcome kit four to six weeks after earning your certification. You will also be sent the ACE logos Adobe's following receipt of your signed ACE Agreement.

- Select the country, city, etc. in which the exam will be taken (if necessary)
- Select the desired testing location from the available selections by selecting the check box next to the location
- Click the "Select" button
- Select the desired date from the calendar control
- Select the desired start time
- Click the agreement check box at the bottom of the page to acknowledge the agreement
- Click the "Select" button
- Click the "Check Out" button
- Complete the account information and then click "Next" OR login using existing credentials and click "log in"
- Enter payment by: entering a voucher in the "Promotion Code" field and clicking "Apply," OR by entering the billing information
- Click "Submit"
- Click Done
