ICT TASK TEAM

The UNDG ICT Task Team is one of the conduits for the ICT WG to address technology differences that hamper harmonization. As such, the UNDG ICT Task Team provides business guidance in ICT operational matters, and technical guidance for projects that affect globally shared or corporate infrastructures, in harmony with corporate policies at the agency level. The UNDG ICT Task Team provides policy and expert guidance at the request of UNCTs and ICT WGs, however, this is superseded by policy and expert guidance at the agency level, for agencies which elect this modus operandi and/or agencies not actively participating in the UNDG system.

The UNDG ICT Task Team supports Deliver as One (DoA) pilot countries in their ICT harmonization initiatives. Its mission is to: 1) provide continued direct support to pilot country implementations, 2) Address country-level common ICT service needs, 3)Develop and publicize guidelines and templates for Delivering as One in ICT and 4)Propose capacity building measures that support other UNDAF offices.
