Nothing says Christmas to us like laughing at old Martha Stewart holiday specials, and in our hunt for clips we came across several gems: a magical gingerbread house how-to in which Miss Piggy serves as heckler; a marvelous blooper reel from a 1-800-FLOWERS commercial featuring a randy, ad-libbing Santa; and an appearance on David Letterman ca. 1990 in which Martha tries to show him how to spin caramelized sugar for a festive croquembouche. And we've assembled them all into one glorious reel, straight ahead.
The ol' gal sure isn't going anywhere, but she sure has evolved over the years — note how the humorless, earnest Martha of the 80s and 90s became the post-prison Martha who cracks off-the-cuff jokes and pole dances because, like Madonna, she can keep on reinventing until she gets it right.
