Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg have both boxed on the big screen, and now they're being asked to reprise their roles for a real-life match-up. Damon Feldman of Hollywood Boxing Federation, formerly called Celebrity Boxing Federation, told RadarOnline.com the organization will offer $1 million each if the stars will jump into the ring in 2011.
"This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Super Bowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favorite charities," Feldman says.
Smith played Muhammad Ali in 2001's 'Ali.' Wahlberg's 'The Fighter,' about the story of Massachusetts boxer Mickey Ward, is currently in theaters. According to Radar, both actors trained with professional boxers for the films.
The proposed fight would take place Feb. 26, 2011 in Las Vegas.
"I really think that this would be a huge event and great way for them to donate to their favorite charities," Feldman says. "We don't think these two are going to rip each others heads off. We're just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out."
Radar notes other celebrities who have participated in Hollywood Boxing Federation matches include Danny Bonaduce, Jose Canseco, and Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael.
Still no word on a response from Marky Mark or the Fresh Prince. While 'Ali' has been out for ages and some of us have yet to catch the awesome-looking 'The Fighter,' we'll provide both trailers to give you a fair shake at voting for the hypothetical winner.
Why would these two stars want to do anything like that? Seems like only the losers were involved in celebrity boxing. These two surely are not losers!
Smith has too much weight for Wahlberg and a much longer reach. He was also a gifted athlete. That said, I'm a screenwriter in Hollywood, and an ex-boxer, and I'll take on either of them.
You need to go to Wikepedia and read up on these two then answer the question on who would win the fight between these two. Regardless of his reach and weight, I think you'll change your mind after the interesting read and say Wahlberg....:-)
Mark Wahlberg by TKO in the early rounds! You could add Daniel Day Lewis to this mix by fighting the winner. Lewis played a damn good role in "The Boxer"!
Biceps means he's good at doing curls. You don't score points in boxing doing curls, and they don't add any punching power. Triceps do. The only thing biceps are good for in boxing is tying up your opponent.

Smith has height and reach on Markie-Mark. What's with those biceps on Mark?
