Common Annual Reporting by Pilot UN Country Teams
by: Working Group on Programming Policies
February 2008
This document was produced by a UNDG inter-agency task team supporting the Delivering as One pilot countries on programming issues in response to requests from several pilot countries for guidance on common reporting. The pilot countries indicated that they would like to avoid the dual reporting burden, having to report both to agency HQ and having to report jointly on the One Programme. The Task Team inventoried the existing guidance and formats that could be used to streamline and simplify common reporting, but also concluded that bypassing agency reporting requirements at this stage encounters difficulties at the HQ level. The note is meant to assist pilot country teams in simplifying their joint reporting within the existing constraints, and the note also lists a number of the obstacles that would require HQ discussion in order to move towards common reporting in the future.
