Following the previous two workshops held in Princeton (2001) and Stamford (2003), the Action 2 Interagency Task Force will convene the third interagency workshop which will give greater substance and impetus to the system-wide mainstreaming of human rights, including guiding human rights mainstreaming within UNCTs and at the country level in the future.

Participants are invited to attend the side event, Mainstreaming Human Rights: The Role for Knowledge Management, to be held in the sidelines of the Third Interagency Meeting. The event is being organised by HURITALK - the UN Human Rights Policy Network, and will be held on Thursday October 2, at 12:45 in the Sunnyside Room. The purpose of the meeting is to hear directly from practitioners what knowledge they require in order to effectively integrate human rights into development programming. Interested participants are requested to complete the brief questionnaire at the (fifth) link below by 30 September, to ensure a more focused discussion.
