United Nations Development Group unite and deliver effective support for countries
Learning & Training Materials
The learning and training package listed below consists of thirteen technical briefs and accompanying power point presentations together with a facilitation manual. The package has been developed by a Joint Programmes task team and endorsed by the UNDG Country Programme Support Group for use by UN Country Teams. The materials, which are based on the UNDG Guidance Note on Joint Programming, have been designed in a modular format that allows UN Country Teams to adapt the package as required for their specific needs. This training package is flexible and these materials may be used for stand-alone joint programme training and learning workshop in their entirety or specific modules can be incorporated into other workshops, as needed.

The target audience of the materials include programme and operations staff in the field (Mid-level and Senior Staff). However, we recognize that on some occasions Government counterparts and other implementing and strategic partners may also attend trainings. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure that UN-specific terminology is clearly spelt out to partners.
