Oh, Internet ... how you never cease to amaze us. It's strange, and they're not the best singers, but it's the most intriguing and addictive thing we've seen in years.

Some of the carols you can request are "We Three Kings," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," "Jingle Bells," "White Christmas" and "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer." Scroll further down the list, and you'll find songs like Prodigy's "Firestarter," Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack," and Warren G's "Regulate."
Auntiecarols.co.uk is the brainchild of Inferno Group, an advertising agency out of London. Founding partner Tim Doust told AOL News that the AuntieCarols project "is our Christmas gift to the Internet."
"We did this project completely on our own time and money, to spread goodwill and cheer at Christmas," Doust explained. And they certainly have -- watching the Aunties live has become a severe addiction among some of the AOL News staff.
While the aunties themselves are actresses, to watch them, you'd think they've been friends all their lives. When AOLNews reached out to speak with them, they were live and performing, but they did send a message to us through Doust saying they are "delighted to be singing live for the Internet and are having the time of their lives."
It's a shame that today is the last day of the live request-taking portion of the project. "If they weren't booked next week, we'd bring them right back," Doust told us.
"The project ran this week, and steadily through the week, traffic has been building," he said. And while today is the last day of the live performances, the aunties will be singing live requests through the evening.
