Americans Not Sure GOP Can Solve Their Problems, After All

Remember when Americans handed over power in the House to the GOP last month, presumably because they felt it would fix the country's myriad economic issues? Well, because it's the American way sometimes, we're just not happy with anything for more than a few weeks: A new Washington Post-ABC poll of over 1,000 Americans found that 44 percent of those polled now said Obama would do a better job leading the country toward economic prosperity, and 45 percent said Republicans would. And, more vaguely, as far as "handling the nation’s problems" in the next few years, 43 percent said Obama would do a better job, while 38 percent said they believed congressional Republicans would do a better job. Typical. Maybe it was the tears?
