For a while cats have seemed like the must-have accessory, whether they were on a Miu Miu dress, vamping for a cover or advertisement, or starring in their very own high-fashion calendars. But now children seem to be catching up to the cats. Gucci recently held a festive party for children, including at least one Gucci-clad baby, to herald the new clothes they now make for them. Supermodels are popping out babies left and right. Katherine Heigl posed with her baby for the cover of W. And now Freja Beha-Erichson poses with a wee naked thing for Harry Winston's new ads, shot by Patrick Demarchelier. Maybe babies are easier to deal with than cats on sets — you know, their parents aside.
