Marine Commandant and Air Force Chief of Staff Voice Objection to ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Repeal

"My recommendation is that we should not implement repeal at this time," General James Amos said during testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, going on now. "My best military judgment does not agree with the study assessment that the short-term risk to military effectiveness is low," General Norton Schwartz also noted in his prepared statement. [WSJ]
