Inside Annie’s Blue Ribbon’s Upper West Side Pop-up

Though Thanksgiving hasn't yet arrived, the turkey decorations are already being overrun by glitzy polar bears and elves. Holiday pop-up season is upon us, with a slew of stores venturing into spendy stocking-stuffer territory over the next month. Cutesy-crafty Boerum Hill general store Annie’s Blue Ribbon launched its first Manhattan pop-up on the Upper West Side today. Owner Ann Cantrell is taking over a 1,600-square-foot space — three times the size of her original Brooklyn abode — to satisfy her affinity for playful and functional kitsch, from games (Film Festival in a Box, $15) and beauty products (Lollia rose-scented perfume, $9) to barware (numbered wine glasses, $49.95), most priced under $50. The space is divvied up into sections for various gifting challenges, from the Epicurean to the Kid at Heart. Click ahead for a look at the selection.
