The 8–2 Jets host the 2–8 Bengals tomorrow night, and if ever there was a game that shouldn't have to go down to the wire, this would be it. Cincinnati, after all, hasn't won a game since September, and last week lost by eighteen to Buffalo, at home. Still, given the margin of victory in the Jets' last three games — games against Detroit, Cleveland, and Houston, mind you — it's probably best that the Jets take nothing for granted.

The defense, especially, seeks to bounce back from a disastrous fourth quarter on Sunday, in which the Jets squandered a 23–7 lead, only to be saved by Mark Sanchez and an improbable last-minute drive. A meeting with New England, with whom the Jets are tied atop the AFC East, awaits twelve days from now — a matchup that will go a long way toward deciding the top team in the division, if not the entire conference. But the Jets still have business to take care of in the meantime — even if only to quiet Terrell Owens.

On that note, that's it for us this week. May your day tomorrow be filled with food, family, and football — and perhaps even a one-day-only holiday version of fantasy football, if you're so inclined. Have a happy Thanksgiving, and we'll see you Monday.
