Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab, Briefly

Lindsay Lohan was spotted this weekend in Los Angeles, off the grounds of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California (where she has reportedly been making significant progress in her court-ordered drug addiction treatment program).

Saturday morning, accompanied by her longtime assistant, Lohan went to her home in West Hollywood. According to RadarOnline, she allegedly sought a "day pass" to attend a meeting with Matthew Wilder, director of the Linda Lovelace biopic 'Inferno,' who has said in the past that he hopes to work around his leading lady's legal restrictions in order to keep her on the film.

And today, TMZ is reporting that Lohan -- who has pleaded with the court about her lack of funds to pay for treatment -- is scheduled to pose in a one-day photo shoot for the Russian apparel designer Kira Plastinina.

The fashion photos, for which Lohan will be paid, will be shot "not too far from the Betty Ford Center," and are expected to appear in a major magazine soon.

Dina Lohan spoke to Matt Lauer on the 'Today' show last week, after spending two weeks in family therapy sessions with her daughter. She described Lindsay as "happy...relaxed," adding, "She's just a different person. She's been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. They get into your psyche, and your family, and they bring the problem to the surface."

The 23-year-old actress has been ordered to remain in rehab until Jan. 3, after violating probation in her 2007 DUI case by flunking a drug test in September.

You are correct. They do check at most drug rehabs, as soon as the patient walks back in the door. The sad thing here, is her mother, Dina Lohan is her biggest enabler. Her mother went to parties with her, and whether Lindsay was 18 or not, a parent still has to tell their child, something about drugs and to say no. Even if they are saying, “I’ll turn you in for this crap.” Dina went to parties with her daughter so she could have sex with male stars, and the bigger the star the better. She cares nothing for her daughter, or she’d stop doing BS interviews, just to get camera time.

It’s hard to say, because no matter what age, a parent should always be your most protective, yet disciplined person. Dina Lohan is neither. I don’t know except the limited things read about him, but Dina is using her daughter as a claim to fame. Disgusting.

I would hope so, but you never see a headline saying: "Joe Doakes doing great in Hollywood!" Otherwise, nuttin' but trouble. They seem to be dropping like flies lately.

I would hate to have to be a celebrity. I would hate to have to starve myself to death, take horse pills to lose weight, and is there an unwritten law that the first thing a celebrity HAS to do when they make some coin is buy drugs to snort, swallow, inject? Why is that? Is that the 'in' thing and you're a big fat uncool loser if you aren't sh*tfaced all the time? Frankly, I could think of better uses for my money, but what do I know?

The kind of behavior those people (Lohan, Hilton,etc) exhibit is what prepares them for being expert opinions on how this country should be run. California is loaded with them, including Newsom and J. Brown.

Why does this woman keep getting to leave where ever she's placed. Seems that she should be in the center 24/7 for her full time. Talk about special treatment. And she's gotten someone else to foot the bill, too. Sheesh!!!

Court ordered rehab until January 3. Today is November 14. Doesn't sound like this court order means much. The other judge seemed to mean it until she recused herself. That's the worse thing that happened to Lindsay.

Ok so guys out there in Internet and TV land......I sure hate to clue you in, but we here in the general public could actually give a darn about the "Lindsay Rehab Drama"......this story has lost it's ooomph months ago to be quite frank.......so let's move on to a real story worth telling why dontcha......I mean this is just plain boring.....yawn.....as all hell.....
