After seeing Nicole Richie in Marchesa recently, it makes me think back to The Simple Life days and I shake my head in wonderment. Say buh-bye to the fake tan, ratty extensions and in place are impending nuptuals to longtime partner Joel Madden, two cute-as kids and an incredibly successful fashion and jewellery line, plus a new book Priceless. Nic is one busy girl! Can't wait to see what she does next, but while we're waiting, we thought it high time to take a quick look back at her style through the years. Check out the jam-packed gallery!

Rochas delivered an eclectic mix of Swedish country design, bold floral prints and transparent minimalism for their Spring '11 offering in Paris today. Swishy dresses with waisted full skirts, corset bodysuits and flat-pack style handbags provided fresh and effortlessly easy silhouettes, while boxy jackets, pyjama style pants and cropped culottes took things into a mannish direction. Accessories had an almost Amish-like inspiration with headscarves, socks mixed with sandals and gold haircombs accompanying the mismatched range. There was a nostalgic feel to the designs, but I'm unsure designer Marco Zanini hit all the right notes with this confusing collection. Catch the highlights in our gallery.
Whilst in Milan for Fashion Week, Claudia Schiffer let slip that she was working on a debut clothing line for Winter 2011. More details have now been revealed that the range will be a cashmere line, aptly title Claudia Schiffer. She's working with German brand Iris von Arnim who are known for their luxurious cashmere pieces. Claudia commented on the collaboration, “I have been looking for the right partnership for a very long time and I feel very lucky to have found it with IvA. We have the same inherent values and I was delighted to find a company to interpret my vision.” Claudia isn't the first model to turn her hand to knitwear design; Lily Cole also designed knitwear for North Circular. Claudia has always maintained an effortlessly chic sense of style (even whilst pregnant!) so we can't wait to see what she has in store for us!

There's the cat-eye, the round lens, and now there's the '40s-inspired, Jazz era-style sunglasses courtesy of Prada. This new style of shades — available at international Prada boutiques at the end of October — goes hand in hand with the house's retro Fall ad campaign. Sure, it takes a certain type of face and fashion sense to be able to pull it off, but can we appreciate that it's a fresh take and new perspective. Especially after the saturation of oversized shades, it's a nice diversion. What do you think — fun or freaky?

We die! Rachel Zoe's flamboyant right-hand man, Brad Goreski, has decided to leave the Zoe Camp and pursue his own fashion endeavours. Telling Peoplemagazine exclusively, "I love Rachel and she's taught me everything I know, but there's a point where either I do it now or I'll never know what it's like to spread my wings and soar." Rachel was reportedly told the news about a month ago and admits that finding his replacement will be a hard task. "We have a relationship that's not normal...No one's ever going to be Brad to me." You may recall it was around this time last year that Taylor Jacobson famously left the Zoe Camp, with neither parties ever commenting on what really caused the split. Seems the break up between Brad and Rach is a lot more amicable, with both of them taking to their Twitter accounts to express their admiration for eachother. Aww! I smell a Bravo spin-off series for Brad, don't you?
The Australia's Next Top Model saga continues as Sarah Murdoch appeared on A Current Affair last night to explain her side of the story. The gist of the stuff up? The last piece of information Sarah was given was that Kelsey was in the lead ("Kelsey, one") and Amanda was behind ("Amanda, two"), moments before the winner's announcement was to be made. Relying solely on her ear piece, Sarah waited for the final confirmation to be fed through to her, only to be left hanging with silence. Instead of calling for technical help or waiting until the feed came through, Sarah assumed that Kelsey was still in the lead and announced her as the winner. This, it seems, is why the term "miscommunication" has been thrown around by Sarah and Foxtel to explain the mishap. As much as I'm on Team Sarah, I do question her instincts on this one. Announcing the winner is the sole reason for the live finale, so why did she leave it to chance to announce who she thought was the right girl? Wouldn't you double, even triple check (a la Gretel Killeen on Big Brother)? And if the ear piece did go blank at the crucial moment, shouldn't she have made the crew aware of the problem? I hate to say it, but it seems a little like a bad judgement call to me. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below!
It's not October quite yet, but October's magazine covers were chosen and shot months ago. Gisele Bundchen, Natasha Poly, Lara Stone, Anja Rubik, and Chanel Iman are just some of the lucky women who grace the covers of various Vogue editions, as well as Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and W. Some play it sexy, some coy, and others cool. Step inside to get a closer look at October's cover shots.
