Evan Thomas Leaves Newsweek to Teach at Princeton, Write Books

  • 8/10/10 at 4:35 PM

"I think Newsweek is in good hands," departing editor-at-large Evan Thomas said today. "I think they have a good management team. I wish for the best." What with editor-in-chief Jon Meacham leaving, and executive editor Ted Moncreiff going, too, that leaves managing editor Daniel Klaidman and Meacham's right-hand man Mark Miller alone at the top: a small "team," even if it is a great one. (Related: Guess this pretty well narrows down the internal candidates for the top gig, when you factor in Newsweek International's Fareed Zakaria.) [Upshot/Yahoo]
