It could have been Mayor Robinson

A couple of intriguing snippets from Anne Robinson in the Independent this morning. The Weakest Link presenter and makeover expert claims she was asked by Steve Hilton to stand as the Conservative candidate for London mayor, before Boris got the call. He propositioned her up an Alp in 2007 during a walking holiday in Switzerland. She also claims Alan Clark offered to fix her a safe Tory seat and a Cabinet job.
