      Day One
      Catch the train to London from your chosen station (see train times below), and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore. Visit the famous sights, shop along Oxford Street and discover the capital's many museums and galleries, and perhaps enjoy dinner at one of London's many fine restaurants before returning to your hotel.

      Day Two
      After breakfast at your hotel you'll have an entire day free to discover the delights of the nation's capital. Explore the galleries of Tate Modern, visit Kensington Palace, take in the views from atop The Monument and shop along Oxford Street and High Street Kensington. In the evening, why not enjoy a meal in Covent Garden followed by a stroll through the lights and glamour of the West End or down to the Thames and along the Embankment?

      Day Three
      Enjoy a leisurely morning, then check out of your hotel and return to the station in time to catch your train home.

      This first-class hotel is located close to the impressive new Bishopsgate development, and is a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station. The area has a good range of shops and restaurant, and puts you within easy reach of the West End by Underground.

      Days Hotel

      Situated just a two-minute walk from Lambeth North Underground - which is four stops from Piccadilly Circus - 10 minutes from Waterloo Station and 15 minutes from the South Bank - home of the British Airways London Eye, this hotel offers a good standard of accommodation and facilities.

      Crowne Plaza London City

      This luxurious recently opened hotel is located close to Blackfriars Bridge on the River Thames, and is near the heart of the West End and Theatre-Land.

      The hotel, which occupies a listed building, has a very stylish, modern interior, and offers a choice of dining in the Benugo deli cafe and the Refettorio restaurant (which is directed by a Michelin-starred chef). The hotel's Bar 606 is a fashionable jazz venue affiliated to the famous Chelsea 606 club.

      Each of the 203 beautifully furnished guest rooms has a private bathroom, and offers tea- and coffee-making facilities, a telephone, satellite TV, in-room movie and internet access, air conditioning, an iron and ironing board, a mini-bar, a safety deposit box and a bathrobe.

      Thistle City Barbican Hotel

      This popular hotel is ideally located in the heart of London. The nearest underground stations are Barbican and Old Street, which are approximately 10-minute walks from the hotel.

      There is an excellent, reasonably priced restaurant offering a full a la carte menu. The hotel also has two attractive bars - Commotion Bar, overlooking the lobby, and the livelier Packers Bar - and a leisure club with a heated indoor pool.

      Each of the 467 comfortably furnished bedrooms has a private bathroom, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a telephone, satellite TV, a trouser press and a hairdryer.
