You’ll also be able to make your own contribution to the site, and exchange ideas and opinions with other users.
Unique editorial coverage
The blue section of the site features articles written or commissioned by our site editor Mark King, as well as Guardian foreign correspondents and Guardian Weekly subscribers around the world. All articles are linked by the common theme of reporting the experiences of individual people. If you yourself know of an experience worthy of inclusion, you can submit an article to the site editor for consideration.
The site also contains a digital edition of the Guardian Weekly newspaper, and a Viewpoint section, which features informed analysis of global issues.

The Guardian Weekly Global Network aims to close the gap between international news headlines and the personal experiences of real people, and stimulate discussion and action.
In launching this site, we pay tribute to the Guardian Weekly's editor of fourteen years, Patrick Ensor, who passed away in July 2007. A man of integrity and belief, his legacy lives on in the newspaper he helped build.
