Unko-san Scatological Comedy's New TV Anime in January
posted on 2009-12-22 05:06 EST
The production studio Iyasakadō Film has announced on Tuesday that the new television series Unko-san Junjō-ha will premiere on January 10 on Kansai TV broadcasting station. The series is effectively the second season of Unko-san, the 2009 Flash-animated scatological comedy about a character named after the Japanese word for feces. The first episode of the first anime series has been posted to the YouTube website.
The franchise has gotten so popular that Taito is offering arcade game machine prizes, while Takara-Tomy A.R.T.S and Bandai sell plush dolls, keychains, and mascots.
