Blassreiter DVD part 1
CG animation highlights this story of a special task force who must deal with corpses turned into rampaging monsters in this recent effort from Gonzo. Though flawed, particularly grim, and certainly not innovative, it does deliver a fair amount of entertainment value and some occasionally very solid storytelling.

The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye DVD 4
Despite a one-episode drop-off in artistic quality, the series regains its stride with this intimate, self-contained four-episode story arc. It may not be a shining example of originality but executes well.
