Ikasucon Announces 2010 Dates
Sep 18th 2009Anime convention returns to Fort Wayne, Indiana
FORT WAYNE, IN - September 18, 2009 - Ikasucon, an annual Japanese animation and popular culture convention, announced that they will be returning to the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for their eighth year.
Ikasucon will be held from July 16 to July 18, 2010. The Grand Wayne Center will play host to the convention for the fourth consecutive year. Previously, Ikasucon was held in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2003 to 2006.
"We are excited to return to Fort Wayne," says Dustin Riley, Relations Director. "Ikasucon has strong ties with the local community, and many of our most loyal attendees and staff members come from the northwest Indiana region."
Convention staff will be posting further updates on its preparations for the 2010 event on the official website, www.ikasucon.org.
ABOUT IKASUCON: Ikasucon (http://www.ikasucon.org) is Indiana's premier Japanese animation and pop-culture convention. Ikasucon has been part of the midwest's anime fandom since its first annual event in 2003. Now in its eighth year and its fourth in Fort Wayne, Ikasucon draws over 1,000 fans of anime, gaming, and cosplay to northeastern Indiana each summer. Ikasucon's 2010 event is July 16-18 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The manga version puts the focus back on the most interesting character: the Count himself. As a result, the plot reaches full steam in a very powerful way—but sadly gets derailed in the later chapters.
It's a film that defies any and all expectations of both medium and genre, that makes us marvel and has really little time to do much else.
The clues it contains about the future direction of Guts' journey—and the relentless monster action—ultimately save it, but unless the series regains its bearings soon this will begin to qualify as a genuine slump.
It's a beauty to look at, but a pain to follow. But we continue following anyway, because the path of destiny still holds many more surprises.
A love triangle forms between two reincarnated priestesses and a boy who represents part of their nihilistic foe in a series laden with fan service and mecha action but ultimately more focused on the development of the central characters' obsessive love. Not great, but not as trashy as it initially appears to be, either.
