Plot Summary:
Noriko Yoshifuku, supposedly flu-stricken, hasn't attended college since the start of Sophomore year. When two of her classmates, Satoshi Akiyama and Junichi Ieda, are sent to bring her homework, the two young men discover that Yoshifuku does not have the flu at all. Instead, Yoshifuku can't stop thinking about (and acting upon) dirty thoughts and so she, Akiyama and Ieda act out their sexual fantasies while encountering obstacles along the way. The series's themes, developed in widely varying degrees, include wish fulfillment, bisexuality, incest, the ways in which sexuality can affect day-to-day life, and friendship.

Spiritually powerful young maidens pilot mecha to defend the imperial capital in a steampunk version of 1920s Japan in this TV series based on a popular video game line. This economical rerelease gives newer fans a chance to experience one of the most popular series of the early 2000s.
A worthwhile watch for anyone who doesn't mind their entertainment with more brain than heart.
Some of the stories achieve enough depth to break the mold (or at least, make the best use of the mold), but otherwise, this volume of Yokai Doctor fails to reach its potential.
