I hope people enjoyed this run of episodes, because the show stars going down hill after this arc.

Indeed, aside from the flashback arc, Bleach never reaches this height again IMHO, and some of the more recent chapters have really aggravated me. Still, the first three sets are a must for any fighting shonen fan, as it's arguably one of the best arcs in the genre's history. |

Sorry, I tend to listen to the Japanese VA on this character considering Ryusei Nakao is also pretty experienced with the sadistic evil types having played Freeza/DBZ, Farfarello/Weiss Kruez, & the creepy Mataichi/Requiem From the Darkness. I had forgotten it was in fact him, but re-listening to set 2 in Japanese for Sho Hayami & Koji Yusa I recognized Nakao instantly. You also missed how much the title has borrowed from Saint Seiya which also utilized Hell Butterflies for the underworld, featured a large, but highly definable cast fo characters with very distinctive attire. Tosen & Shaka may be a tad too obvious, but Aizen & Gemini Saga both possessing illusion powers is also rather interesting. A large organization split by the deceit of one man with some willingly following that man even though they are aware of the deceit because they agree with his vision. That he was highly respected & perceived as rather genteel also. And one or 2 suspecting the ruse, not to mention deaths of higher-ups long hidden until the body/ies surface... |

I'm not familiar with Saint Seiya at all, hence the lack of mention, but that Tite Kubo was borrowing from other prominent shonen titles, too, doesn't surprise me. Bleach has always seemed to me like a conglomeration of ideas borrowed from other sources and given a cool spin, after all. |

I agree with the points of view that the episodes here are arguably the series' zenith and a great deal of times, extremely exciting. I enjoyed it immensely. After this however, the bount arc and even a good deal of up to where the CN/AS broadcast is at (ep 140ish), the series is at a point where it's either a chore to watch or I don't really care anymore.

In terms of overall storytelling, I'll agree that the series may have been at its zenith during this period. Its best individual episodes, however (the two involving spoiler[Orihime's confession to Ichigo and disappearance to Hueco Mundo]), come much later.

I wouldn't say that. liked the bount arc. it's better than those endless naruto fillers where at least some of their stories were good. also the animation on all fronts were preety well though the parts of yourichi turning as a human was unfortunately necessary to keep it as accurate to the manga as possible. it was annoying though it sure provided humurous fanservice. Was definately a hilarious part of the entire box set other than that karukura epsiode where spoiler[ Kon tried to get kissed by a female hollow ] now that was a gas. |

The reviewer makes some good points (Like that scene in Naruto where Jiraiya's hair turns pointy) but I also disagree on some things (like that scene in Naruto where Naruto disagrees with Orochimaru's decision to destroy Konoha) but I realize that this is the reviewer's opinion (like that scene in Naruto where Sakura's opinion of Naruto isn't very high, except for later when he proves himself to be more than a prankster) so I respect it (like that scene in Naruto where it says why Lee respects Gai so much, because of his shinobi way) but I would stop comparing everything to Naruto (like that scene where Sasuke is comparing himself to Naruto through a fight but Kakashi breaks it up).

Regarding the Musical Score, it's indeed one of the better ones, however, it had one tragic flaw that perhaps the reviewer overlooked or hasn't noticed; By the time Bleach is at episode 10 or 11, every single background music on the soundtrack has been played, and so for the next 50+ episodes (from 12-63) the very same BGM's are being repeated over and over, by the time you're at episode 40 you could easilly tell which BGM is gonna be played for which situation, usually, once the series reaches 50 episodes, a new set of background music is added in order to maintain interest in the soundtrack, another flaw is the misuse of the BGM on scenes, if we take creative BGM called "The Principle of Defeat" (pretty much the Main Theme of Bleach) for instance, it's been used on so many parts that didn't require such an intense music. Also, Ichigo's Bankai, while very cool in appearance, meant that the series would dump its own style (the heavy emphasis on Zanpakuto as a major factor to decide the fight) and start a typical "he's gotten faster than me, but I can still increase my Speedn *teleports*, but now he's increased his speed again! *teleports*" formula made popular by DragonballZ, I'm sure everyone realised, all that followed the Bounto Arc. (namely arrancar and heuco mondo arcs) was nothing more than Lightquick speed, mass destruction, shooting energy beams and transformation (in short, DragonballZ style of fighting), one small thing; Ichigo running around Byakuya with the latter using his Cherry Blossoms for both offense and defense was TOO similar to Rock Lee vs. Gaara, think of Byakuya's Senbonzakura as Sand, and Ichigo as Rock Lee after throwing his weight (not that Lee's whole increase of Speed because of dropping his weights wasn't a DBZ rip off..) It happened twice, and they were reasonable comparisons, since they're the same genre. |

It'll be many and many a moons before we reach the Zanpaktou Arc which I enjoy a lot so far. Although so far, in terms of Arcs, I prefer the first, I just think the Series kinda went on a different path compared to the first, it's hard to explain.

Unbreakable Machine-Doll [Limited Edition] BD+DVD
anime
Advanced dolls controlled by magic are the focus of this light novel-based series that maybe feels a little incomplete.
― This entry from the Fall 2013 TV season is a 12-episode series which really should have been 24 episodes long instead. This is not a case of the production trying to cram too much into one series, however; based on the episode naming conventions, the animation probably covers the ...

Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches GN 1
manga
Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches may not be flying along, but it features a take on the gender swapping genre that we don't get to see as often.
― As far as gender-bending body-swapping stories go, Yamada-Kun and the Seven Witches is one of the nicest. I don't mean that in the sense that it's sweet and happy or conflict free, but rather in that there is a lack of the inherent meanness that seems to h...
