Jin-Roh, the anime

Coming from Production I.G., this anime of the thriller / tragedy genre was created by Hiroyuki Okiura and presented under the title Jinroh, The Wolf Brigade at many film festivals around the world and won critical acclaim. (Note: "anime" is the common term for japanese animation) Jinroh is graced with a deep plot and masterful animation. Also referred to as Jinro or Jinrou, The Wolf Brigade is destined to become a classic.

Hiroyuki Okiura, the director

Although he is not widely known, Okiura has worked on many famous titles such as Ghost in the Shell, Memories, Patlabor 2 as well as Akira before becoming director of Jin-Roh.

Mamoru Oshii, the scriptwritter

There is almost no need to introduce this veteran of anime. Responsible for such classics as Urusei Yatsura, Patlabor (one series and two movies) and Ghost in the Shell, he is well-known for his intricate plots and detailed universes, of which there is no lack in Jin-Roh.

Kenrou Densetsu, the manga

Before the anime movie, Mamoru Oshii wrote the scripts for six mangas illustrated by Kamui Fujiwara and named Kenrou Densetsu (Kerberos Panzer Cop). The rights were acquired by Darkhorse Comics and the manga was published in english under the name of Hellhounds: Panzer Cops.

Jigoku no banken, the live-action movies

Oshii was also director for two live-action movies set in the Jin-Roh universe: Jigoku no banken: Kerubersu (a.k.a. Stray Dogs) and Jigoku no banken: Akai megane (a.k.a. The Scarlet Spectacles).

Nous venant de Production I.G., cet anime du genre thriller / tragédie a été créé par Hiroyuki Okiura et a été présenté sous le titre Jinroh, La brigade des loups lors de plusieurs festivals du film à travers le monde. (Note: "anime" est le terme commun pour l'animation japonaise) Fait curieux, il semble également avoir été présenté en France sous le titre La légende des hommes-loups. Jinroh est doté d'un scénario profond et d'une qualité d'animation supérieure. Aussi connu sous le nom de Jinro ou Jinrou, La brigade des loups est destiné à devenir un classique.

Hiroyuki Okiura, le réalisateur

Bien qu'il ne soit pas très connu, Okiura a travaillé sur plusieurs titre célèbres come Ghost in the Shell, Memories, Patlabor 2 ainsi que Akira avant de devenir réalisateur de Jin-Roh.

Mamoru Oshii, l'auteur du script
