Mr. Hiltz\'s responsibilities included day-to-day management of all aspects of the technology operations and systems development at Natixis CM. He is responsible for the proper deployment of technology for the Natixis trading environment including cost management and continuous availability of critical systems. Ronald Housch, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Air National GuardMr. Ron Housch was appointed the Air National Guard (ANG) Associate Chief Information Officer in March 2006. He is responsible for implementing the Clinger-Cohen Act, Federal Information Security Management Act, and other statutory requirements regarding the acquisition, management, and use of the Air National Guard\'s information and information technology resources, to include the ANG\'s mobile and fixed computing and communications infrastructure. Mr. Housch also provides executive oversight for the ANG\'s Continuation of Operations IT and Communications infrastructure to ensure continuity in event of a terrorist attack, major disaster, or other national emergency. He previously served as the Warfighter Systems Integration Advisor for the ANG\'s Command, Control, Computer and Communications Directorate.

Mr. Housch has served over 30 years in the Department of Defense as a uniformed member, contracted employee and currently as a federal civil servant. He began his career as an Air Force enlistee in 1975 specializing in digital electronics and communications. After 16 years of honorable service, Mr. Housch transitioned from active duty into the Air National Guard where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1997. In 2000, Mr. Housch\'s expertise returned him to the ANG as a contracted employee and in 2003 he returned to federal service.

Mr. Housch entered the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Program in 2004 at National Defense University, Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C., and was presented his CIO Certification in April 2005. In his effort to continually update his professional education, Mr. Housch is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business – Information Technology Management degree from Western Governors University.

Mary Patry, Vice President, IT Infrastructure, American Red CrossMary Leonardo Patry is vice president of the IT Infrastructure Services Division for the American Red Cross. Integrating IT Innovation Into Perkins+Will's Sustainable Design Initiative
Richard Nitzsche, AIA LEED® AP, Principal and Chief Information Officer, Perkins+WillRichard is a licensed Architect, a LEED Accredited Professional, a Principal of Perkins+Will. He joined the firm in 2001 coming from McClier/AECOM. He started his career at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill where he was heavily involved in the development of the IBM/SOM Architecture and Engineering Series (AES) software suite.

Richard\'s interest in computers in Architecture began as an undergraduate at Ohio State, where he took a sequence of courses that introduced computer-aided architectural design. His first programs were in Fortran IV, on punch cards; and eventually he graduated to Tektronix green screen monitors. He was intrigued by thought of what designers could do with computers, to do the heavy lifting of perspective rendering, etc. He finished his MArch (also at OSU) with a thesis and a system for animation of 3D architectural models.

Richard has been involved in IT management/leadership for about 12 years now and has worked with clients such as American Airlines, Anderson Consulting and Bank of America, as well as prominent utilities like Nicor, ComEd, Ameritech, NIPSCO, Peoples Energy and Illinois Power. He has also taught at Columbia College and Kent State University and had numerous engagements as a speaker, panelist or contributing author representing technology perspectives as they apply to the architecture and engineering industry.
