ImageI have had my calendar syncing since day 1 with my G1 and Gmail but just found out how to get the Contacts from Kontact syncing today. I am incredibly happy at this point now. Here is how you go about doing that. First you need to have Java working on your system and download GCALDaemon. The only drawbacks at this point is that you see your contacts doubled up in Kontact

What would an Honest President have Said?

"As of this writing, the U.S. House and Senate have passed a $850 billion bailout to Wall Street. At the behest of President George W. Bush, the U.S. taxpayers are going to be on the hook for what can only be referred to as the biggest fraud in U.S. history.

Andrew Jackson President Andrew Jackson to the international bankers: "You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you out."

Virtually our entire financial system is based on an illusion. We spend more than we earn, we consume more than we produce, we borrow more than we save, and we cling to the fantasy that this can go on forever. The glue that holds this crumbling scheme together is a fiat currency known as the Federal Reserve Note, which was created out of thin air by an international banking cartel called the Federal Reserve."

These are the words (with corrected to reflect its a done deal the price is now higher)not of Obama or McCain, but of Chuck Baldwin. In the words of Andy Rooney, Would you now like, The Rest, of the Story?

ImageWell the Treo is as far i care officially DEAD. This Posting is actually coming from its brand new spiffy replacement now that it has OFFICIALLY been released. That is right people, I Just got my T-mobile G-1, actually got it a day earlier. SO....

Sprint, bite my shiny metal ass, your fired! Ill elaborate later as to why I say that. I have been saying for years now, "I don't care who comes out with a Linux phone first, whoever it is, whatever it is. Even if its a damn pink "Hello Kitty Phone" That is where i am going. So i have had the device now a whole 8 hours, i already have my whole addressbook imported, over 400 entries.

Got SSH working and tons of other stuff. So far, zero issues. Now once my number gets ported we will really find out though. So far my biggest worry is that i will not have strong signal at home but so far everything looks ok.

I have gone and verified if it is an issue that i can at least get a cellular extender via thinkgeek. For now though, it just feels good to be able to say...

SPRINT!!! You SUCK. Bite Me!!

Which brings us to why do i feel this way about them? They have screwed my bill up pretty much from the Get Go. Caused me to waste literally full 8 hour days on the phone so many times i have lost count, each time to get my bill squared away to have them 3-5 months later do the same damn thing. They constantly removed my discounts and modified my calling plans making me fight to get them back every time. They have disconnected me numerous time over the 5 years i had them, and without a single exception they never once gave me warning via a phone call, sms message or even an email.

They have the absolutely the worst attitude in how they treat their customers. For now though I have a phone that does not crash, Unlike my Treo755 which crashes numerous times a day, and so far has not lost sync with my bluetooth headset once. The damn Treo exhibts symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder, it looses it almost every 5 minutes. I like the Treo on one basic level but i will happily torch the Turdomatic755 and stick it up on youtube. Not sure why i put up with it as long as i did, Oh Yeah! nobody had a linux powered phone out, Now they do. L8tr sprint and Palm, and good riddence.

Oh, one last thing, Its not pink either. :-P
