Most Asia markets rise as financial companies gain
09/12/08 06:51 EDTHONG KONG (AP) - Most Asian markets rebounded Friday after a volatile week, led partly by financial companies on hopes that U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers would soon find a buyer and emerge from its current financial woes.
Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose 0.93 percent to 12,214.76 after hitting its lowest level in nearly six months Thursday.
