If you must have one reason to buy the third Galaxy Angel Rune DVD, let it be Aya Hirano. But maybe you're buying Galaxy Angel Rune to actually watch the anime, in which case, it's safe to say that this is more of the same.
The Honoka material provides the series with its most emotionally successful volume to date, even while the series continues to trade in plot developments old enough to have hobnobbed with your grandparents.
Despite many flaws, including lack of originality and trouble deciding whether it wants to be a lighter or more decidedly horrific tale, the series shows at least some potential as a decent supernatural action title.
Although the series retains its sense of humor and occasionally falls back on typical romantic comedy hijinks, the depth and complexity of court political maneuvering in this very pretty series has begun to take over.

But for a certain over-density of plot and a sense that it condenses a lengthy space opera into far too short a space of time, Xenosaga is an easy watch. Plus it's got the galaxy's most dangerous set of abs.
But for a certain over-
Alive GN 2
The mysteries of the "suicide virus" are starting to become clearer, and the story is definitely going somewhere. Unfortunately, it seems to be getting there at a frustratingly slow pace.

Random Fun
A great entry in the epic fantasy genre and overall a pretty good movie... just don't go in expecting a Hayao movie.
