Census of Agriculture |

The Census of Agriculture is conducted every five years at the same time as the Census of
Population. It provides a profile of Canadian agricultural operations, including information on number of farms,
crops, land use, land management practices, livestock and poultry, farm machinery, operating expenses
and gross farm receipts. The Census of Agriculture also profiles farm operators based on characteristics such as
their age, sex, residence status, farm work, non-farm work and injuries. More information, release dates,
