Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G.Shoukhov gives ample opportunities for getting education, all-round development of a person, expansion of an outlook and an increase of the cultural level. The University trains engineering staff in 33 specialities (there're also about 50 specializations), covering not only all branches of the building complex, but also financial and economic, ecological and other activities. The structure of the University includes six institutes, three departments, 47 chairs, the Center of the continuous professional training, 4 University branches and a University representation in the town of Volsk.

At the University a huge attention is given to a healthy way of life, physical training and sports. There are amny sport clubs on various kinds of sports at the University. Competitions of city, regional and Russian levels are also held. The University stadium is the largest one among sports constructions of the Universities of Black Earth region.
