Bigg Boss OTT 3: From Armaan Malik being married at the age of 17 to the alleged molestation case; when the Maliks courted major controversies

The Maliks, Armaan, Payal and Kritika have been in the headlines for quite some time. Before entering the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house, the family was mired in serious controversies regarding their marriage, family, cases and more. Take a look at the times when Armaan Malik and his wives made headlines due to these major controversies.

In one of their family vlogs, Payal had opened up about her pregnancy and proving that she was pregnant and gave birth to the twins. While talking about that she even shared that Armaan had gotten married earlier, she said, 'Armaan ki shaadi hui thi jab woh 17 saal ke the par unka Jama nahi aur woh alag ho gaye.' It was even revealed that he also had two children with the former wife.

In the vlog, where Payal and Kritika opened up about Armaan's former wedding they shared that if they ever felt that things aren't working fine between them they would not shy away from seeking divorce from Armaan. Payal even mentioned, "Pehle ki baat alag thi, humne jo tha humare paas woh de diya divorce case mein aur woh clear ho gaya. Poori zindagi iss majboori ke rishtey mein koi nah rehta hai."

It was reported that Armaan had already been married before marrying Payal and Kritika. He supposedly has two children with his first wife, Sumitra, who is also from Haryana. Armaan had revealed that initially, he had married Payal in the temple and not legalised his wedding till she pressurised him to go for a court marriage and certify it.

Shortly after marrying Kritika Basera, Armaan was accused of assaulting their 16-year-old domestic assistant. As a result of this police case, he attempted suicide. In a viral video, he accused his wife Payal's relatives of filing a false complaint against him. He requested that the lawsuit be dropped or he would commit himself. Although the exact details are unknown, several web reports indicate that he was detained in the r*pe case.

Armaan made headlines in 2019 after he threatened to commit suicide from a six-story building in West Delhi's Hari Nagar neighbourhood. The alleged incident occurred shortly after he had a heated dispute with his second wife, Kritika Basera while checking into a hotel in the capital. Payal also arrived at the occasion, amidst the tremendous turmoil and family drama that had ensued. Armaan Malik climbed the hotel's terrace, threatening suicide. Police had to intervene, and the rescue mission lasted over 20 hours.

Armaan's sister Sapna had made shocking allegations against him and his wives. In a vlog, she mentioned that Armaan, his wife Payal, and Kritika have demanded money from her since she began making money from her vlogs. She even alleged that Payal treated her unfairly and that the suits she recently received as a present were of poor quality. Sapna further said that she had severed all relations with Armaan and his family and would never see them again in her life. She said "Meri kamai nahi lungi main? Pichle mahine maine koi kamayi nahi ki Youtube se? Jo mera naata hai na, kuch bhi bolu, aaj mera naata toot chuka hai sbse. Jo mere saath kar rahe bol bol ke, meri beti ko bol rahe mujhe bol rahe, aaj main bta deti hu ki main kabhi bhi apne mayke nahi jaungi".
