Solanki Roy is in a relationship with ‘Kabir Singh’ actor Soham Majumdar? The actress finally answers

Being one of the most popular faces in the Bengali entertainment industry, Solanki Roy’s personal life has always been under the scanner. The ‘Gaatchora’ famed actress who is currently promoting her web series ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’, recently opened up about her relationship status. It has been speculated for long that the actress is in a relationship with her dear friend and actor Soham Majumdar.Solanki recently addressed the rumours and answered the million dollar question.
During the promotion of her new web series ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’, Solanki was asked if she is in a relationship with Soham. Instead of validating or refuting the rumours, Solanki chose to clear the air with one simple statement. The actress stated that she would address the matter when she would see fit. However, Solanki accepted that she and Soham are great friends.
Not just that, Solanki also said that she has been lucky enough in the aspect of friendship. The ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ actress said that she has forged some great friendships in the entertainment industry so far. However, Solanki maintains that it is not always necessary to find friendship at the workplace.
Solanki and Soham have been sparking romance rumours for the past few years. The actress who married her school friend in 2018, moved to New Zealand. But the marriage was short-lived and they got divorced in 2023. Solanki has been linked with Soham ever since.
On Soham’s birthday in April, Solanki posted an adorable selfie of them on Instagram and wished the actor. Solanki wrote, “Many many happy returns of the day! Continue being the goofiest, silliest and the kindest person around and never let the child inside you grow up! p.s. let's not talk about the pishemoshai you are on your birthday! lots and lots of love and best wishes on this day and years to come!”
Earlier this year, Solanki and Soham went togethrer to attend the special screening of Srijit Mukherji’s film ‘Oti UIttam’ in Mumbai. The rumoured couple was seated by each other’s side and the duo smiled for the camera as well.

Solanki Roy, a popular face both on Bengali television and big screen, gained popularity after her stint with ‘Ichche Nodee’ as Meghla, opposite Vikram Chatterjee. She played the historic role of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly aka Bini in a period drama ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ opposite Honey Bafna. She made her big screen debut with ‘Baba Baby O’ where she shared screen space with actor Jisshu Sengupta. She was recently seen in a popular Bengali daily ‘Gaatchora’ and in a film called ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’. Solanki has also acted in web series like ‘Dhanbad Blues’, ‘Montu Pilot’. Solanki is currently seen in Debaloy Bhattacharya’s web series ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’ which also stars Neel Bhattacharya and Shoumo Banerjee.
